Escorial Monastery and Gardens
A royal palace built for an empire whose gardens will carry you to another period before enjoying and aperitif in a 17th century theatre
History, art and gastronomy take part in this tour led by our official guides.
We will start our tour discovering the gardens of the monastery where Felipe II used to walk and make all the decisions to rule his huge empire.
After that, we will enter the monastery to discover the most important rooms such as the library or the church. Furthermore, we will be able to see different spaces and halls filled with paintings created by several masters. We will also see the crypt which is one of the most interesting parts of the building since that is the place where all the Spanish kings are buried.
Finally, we will have time to relax in a place called Coliseo de Carlos III, an unique café to have a drink and an aperitif.
